So many shelters around the world need our help desperately, here are Ways You Can Help The Toronto Humane Society Right Now.
I have been a proud supported of The Toronto Humane Society for years and reached out to them recently to ask them if there are ways we can help them in these trying times. Animals are part of our society and they must not be forgotten.

If you know me and you read the articles on The Eco Hub, you know that animal welfare is a big part of what I talk about. I also work closely with World Animal Protection to raise awareness about many different topics related to animal rights.
3 tips for helping THS right now!
1) Share their TLC animals! Toronto Humane Society has so many animals who have been with the shelter for a very long time that are still in need of a home. Their longest stay animal, Sheldon the turtle, has been with the organization for almost 5 years. Some of TLC animals are buddies who have a more in-depth training plan and also may have individual environment/lifestyle recommendations. We also have a number of animals who have some health considerations that are also looking to make someone very happy in their new forever home. For more information on these particular companions, please reach out to our adoptions or foster department to see if they may fit you and to learn about our new digital adoptions process!
2) Try our virtual training classes! For 20$ you get 20 mins with a trainer and can keep your bunker buddy busy and enriched! During this isolation period, with dog parks closed and puppy play-dates cancelled, take advantage of this unique digital platform which provides owners with a live and interactive way to get your animal up and moving!
3) Contribute to one of our online campaigns!
Easter is just around the corner and now you can make it even more special by donating to our shelter friends too! Send a shelter animal a delightful Easter Basket to give them a little ray of hope and love during this time of crisis! Simply visit our Easter Egg Store and purchase any one of our Easter Basket packages. When you do, a shelter animal will receive a little extra love on your behalf.
