5 Natural Beauty Products That Will Save Your Skin This Winter

Winter sucks! Yes, there are people who love it….but really it comes with harsh wind chills, freezing temps and indoor heat that makes you look and feel like a dried up raisin, and trust me at my age this is not a good thing! Here are 5 Natural Beauty Products That Will Save Your Skin This Winter.

Most skin does not like the cold weather one bit!  It gets dry, flakey, it doesn’t know how to adjust to the drastic change in temps inside and outside. Then there’s also the chapped lips, inflammation, and puffiness.

OY! The struggle is real.

I’ve tried so many products and am loving these. They are truly helping my skin in these harsh winter months.

FACE LOVE

WOMAN DIVINE

Boy does my poor face need help in the winter. Windburn is a real thing, sometimes when I walk to my car from work, the wind actually burns my face. Now I do have to say that the colder weather has made me age slower, but I do have to take care of it.

Enter Woman Divine’s Face Balm!

I have never used a face balm before and I must say I was impressed right away. I was introduced to the brand a while back and have developed a lovely friendship with the owner Magdalena. She’s been such a great resource for skincare.

She taught us how to properly cleane with oils, you can read it here.

The smooth and luxurious texture of our Shea + Sea Buckthorn Face Balm will gently envelop your face with its deeply nourishing and moisturizing properties and will effectively protect your skin from the elements: Great all year round but particularly effective during cooler months. Organic and locally sourced herbs are the superstars of this Face Balm. It’s beeswax free and simply DIVINE!

I apply every night before bed.

BODY LOVE

LOVE FRESH BODY BUTTER

This body butter has been a staple for me for years now. I can’t get through a winter without it. It’s thick rich and decadent. It’s really like buttercream. It’s packed with Aloe Vera, Chamomile, White willow bark which is all super hydrating.

And the smell, well I can’t even talk about it!  It’s THAT good.

Want to stay hydrated? Then run to the shop to grab this.

I apply it all over my body before bed, feet, hands, elbows, legs, anything that I can reach!

My fav scent is the Lemon Verbena! HEAVEN!

3ACRES

My lips are like the desert in the winter and need extra TLC. I was introduced to the cutest brands a few months ago called 3Acrea. They are based in a small town in Quebec and offer a range of lip balms, all made with unrefined, unprocessed and fair-trade organic honey. Infused with shea butter, cocoa butter, and avocado oil. So rich and so hydrating. This is a great alternative to vaseline. They are called Soft Kiss and come in these cute little-recycled cardboard tubes.

What I LOVE about them is you can also apply them to your cheeks, lips, and nose. Perfect for the harsh Canadian winter.

ABSOLUTE SUNLESS TANNER

My skin is alabaster white and in the winter its so white I feel that I may one day glow in the dark. So to help a girl, I use Absolute Sun’s, Sunless Tanner.

It’s made with organic ingredients, it takes about 4-6 hours normally noramlly apply it at night and then shower in the morning. It gives me just a light glow, it’s great for TV shoots and other press related commitemts I have.

It has a light scent and I find it provides hydration as well.
