Eco Clothing Brand Reformation Has Secured It's First Canadian LocationREFORMATION’S VINTAGE MELROSE BOUTIQUE IN LOS ANGELES PHOTO: REFORMATION

It’s Official, Reformation Has Secured It’s First Canadian Location.

How exciting is this? Finally, an ethical fashion brand with so much style is making its way into Canada. Now don’t get me wrong we have some great brands but I think this store is going to be a real game changer for fashion in Canada. And it’s about time! I think people are really going to fall in love with being able to try things on in the store and ultimately be able to make better wardrobe choices.

It’s coming this summer to Yorkdale’s Nordstrom-anchored expansion and is sure to be a MAJOR hit with fashionista’s everywhere. If you follow them on the Gram, you’ve seen the celebs who covet them!

What I love about this L.A. based brand is that it shows us that style and sustainably are possible.

And they have the creds to prove it too.

From the design process to land use, to carbon emission to human toxicity and even the price, it’s all taken into consideration. They even think about the end of the garment of life and how it can be recycled.

Nearly 15% of Reformation’s products are made out of “deadstock” fabrics — the company buys old, leftover, and over-ordered fabric from other designers and fabric warehouses. As well, between 2% and 5% of Reformation’s products are made from vintage clothing, which is purchased from wholesalers in the United States and repurposed.

Can’t wait, how about you?
