Getting rid of plastic certainly isn’t easy, our society is simply not set up that way. No matter where you tun, it’s there.

And it’s taking a massive toll on our planet. In fact, Greenpeace says that every single plastic item that has ever been created still exists in the world!

Take a moment to ingest that!

National Geographic did an excellent job of highlighting the issue. I’m happy that global awareness is growing, recently global plastic pollution was declared a threat equal to climate change and (good news) governments around the world are working to remedy the solution, but they need to work harder and they need to make companies that make all this plastic accountable.

As consumers, we can do a lot, but we can’t solve the issue without legislation!
